  • I just hope you're not using lead shot or bullets. Anything eating those will die of lead poisoning, raptors especially. May be okay if all the bullets are removed. Lead shot seems to travel around inside the body quite a bit. I think they do sell alternative types of ammo. Let us know about the trail cam shots!

  • Daniel, I know that that hog stinks really bad but if you could have opened it up with your saw or a knife, then I really believe that you will have a lot of action. Also, I want to say that Bear is a great loyal dog. I don't know exactly what his breed is but he reminds me a lot of our dog that we had growing up that was a great loyal dog like Bear and we also named him Bear. Love the videos. Keep up the great work.

BTW, know this was shot awhile back - see snow and some ice in Oklahoma...wondering if you and Dutch/Kevin, etc are getting snow or ice?

  • Whoa Daniel, I am a daily follower . Never miss u . I never question anything u do but to feed your family that nasty boar. You waste a lot of goat, pacca., chicken, cow, donkey viewing time on this thing and then how it is infected then in the same breath talk abt you family eating it. Come on. Y'all are not that starved. Yuckyyy. It's gonna take a while to get over this or me to eat pork again.

    Deborah SmithDeborah SmithOy oldin
  • If the coyotes didn't eat it, why would your family risk doing so?

  • Sorry guys but he is nasty I don’t think I would eat any of that. Just sayin

    Sandy QuinnSandy QuinnOy oldin
  • If you are planning to save the hog head for a mount, you need to cut the head off and use some wire to keep it anchored and together. Something can steal the jawbone and animals will gnaw the thin bone near the nose off. Hang it in a tree or on a post. Bugs will do a good job of cleaning the skull for you. Make sure the brain is gone before you boil and bleach it. Should make a fine Euro mount.
